Personal Wisdom-John Joseph Peppers

"Don't be afraid to create your own destiny."

Short, sweet, and to the point. My father is probably my favorite person in the world.  His word of Wisdom was this quote because of his path to his success stories in life. From what I know my father's family started out liveing in a trailer with little to his name, and an unimaginable amount of source of optimism and exploration. As time went on my father had learned some lessons from other people's mistakes, and most of them by his own mistakes. To describe him I would say he is my mentor, faithful, open-minded, curious, a life-time learner, my knight in shinign armor, and everything a wonderful dad needs to be for his children. He has taught me how to be a giver with the memory of him giving me golden one-dollar bills every Sunday for the church. For the reason of him never treating me like a child, he would always answer my questions, and he would talk to me as a person he always loved to talk to. people always say, "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." Well, my father is the gallon of honey and the people he talks to are the flies. He has inspired me to know what I want in life and pursue it. I give credit to my father who has taught me everything I know that is used in my everyday life.
